Romney Amber Ale – 4.4% ABV

Our flagship beer.  Amber in colour.  Tropical fruit flavours from Amercian hops with a hint of caramel from the roasted malts.  Available all year.  Kent Beer of the Year 2016 & 2017 (Taste of Kent Awards).

Romney Marsh Mellow – 3.6% ABV

This distinctive pale ale blends 4 American hops. Creamy, light, grassy and sessionable.  Available all year.  Hops blended: Mount Hood, Sorachi Ace, Crystal & Delta.

Romney Best Bitter – 4% ABV

An all-English Best Bitter.  Chestnut in colour.  A rich blend of biscuit, nutty and chocolate malt flavours with fruit hop notes.  Available all year.  English hops only: Bramling Cross & Jester.

 

Romney American Pale – 5.0% ABV

Now available all year.  Vienna & cara malts give this APA a golden hue, sweetness and gentle biscuit taste.  Strong fruit notes from all-American hops, the variety of which changes between brews.  American hops featured so far: Azacca, Citra, Summit & Simcoe.

Romney Golden Ale – 3.9% ABV

Currently seasonal in casks (Spring – Summer).

Golden in colour.  An easy-drinking ale with fruit and citrus hop notes.  Single hop: Simcoe.

Romney Cinque Porter – 4.2% ABV

Seasonal in casks (November – January).

A well-hopped and deliciously dark porter with rich, roasted maltiness.  A combination of fruity English and American hops.

Romney Rye – 3.2% ABV

Seasonal in casks (Summer only).

A mild, low ABV bitter. Reddish-brown in colour, Romney Rye uses crystal rye malt for its peppery dryness and gentle toffee notes.  Pekko hops offer a gentle bitterness and pleasing fruit aroma.

 
Romney Murmuration – 4 or 5% ABV

Taking its name from the spectacular and ever-changing flight formations made by starling flocks as they prepare to roost on the Marsh, this is our series of small batch ‘one-offs’.

Each brew is different, using the ingredients we are most excited about at the time of brewing.
